888poker has partnered with poker news site PokerListings and The Festival live tour to host the virtual edition of its poker series dubbed The Festival Online .
The brand new online tournament series takes place on 888poker dot-com client from July 7, covering the entire month and through August 1, guaranteeing over $700,000 in prize money.
It is the sixth tournament series at 888poker this year and the first that is non-888-branded. It runs on the heels of the XL Spring Series , which ran in May and June, awarding $1.53 million over 37 events.
The tournament series is being held in association with The Festival — a unique type of live event that debuted in 2021. It combines poker with its sister verticals — casino and sports betting. The series is aimed toward casual players that play both poker and casino games recreationally rather than professionally.
