888poker UK Poker League Heads North of the Border to Edinburgh

888poker UKPL Edinburgh The inaugural season of the 888poker UK Poker League (UKPL) got off to a flying start in late-January with an impressive turnout in Coventry. The fledgling tour is heading to Bonny, Scotland from February 12 and will call the Grosvenor Maybury Casino in Edinburgh home until February 18.

Event #1 of 888poker UKPL Edinburgh is a £250 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Opening Voyage tournament on February 13. However, you may want to head to the casino the night before because a £90 cashout satellite awarding seats to the Opening Voyage and Main Event takes place at 7:00 p.m.

Coventry’s edition of the Opening Voyage attracted 449 entrants, and Xu Hang outlasted them all. Hang got his hands on £20,130.

UKPL Edinburgh has the same schedule as its UKPL Coventry cousin; the theme continues through all upcoming UKPL stops, with 888poker wanting players to enjoy the same experience regardless of where they play.

This means players traveling to Edinburgh can get stuck into tournaments such as the £1,100 High Roller , £400 Big Shot , £150 Pot-Limit Omaha 4/5/6 Card , the £150 Seniors , £200 The Closer , and, of course, the £560 Main Event .

The £560 UKPL Coventry Main Event was won by Jamie Le , who navigated his way through a 371-strong field and captured a £37,605 first-place prize. Live poker is popular in Edinburgh, which is why the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) has called off there every year since 2014. Expect a solid turnout for what is only the second-ever UKPL Main Event. 2024 888poker UK Poker League (UKPL) Edinburgh Schedule

This ticket, known as an 888poker UKPL Live Passport Ticket , can be used for UKPL Edinburgh or any of the other UKPL stops on the calendar.
