Wondering what’s new on the Atlantic City poker scene?

Well, after months of speculation, poker pros are confirming that big live events are coming back to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa .

It’s one of the events PlayNJ will continue monitoring. Beside the MGM -owned Borgata, two other Atlantic City casinos showcase live poker games in the Garden State. Cash games run 24/7 at the following casinos: Borgata (52 tables)

Harrahs Resort (28 tables)

Tropicana Atlantic City (10 tables)

Is a major Borgata poker series confirmed for 2023?

As seen by the Matt Stout tweet, Borgata has something major up their sleeves. According to an anonymous Borgata employee, the casino plans to host a live tournament series this January. Dates, tournament buy-ins and event schedule have not been released yet. The Borgata poker room has also upped the ante this fall and upgraded to a Super Survivor Series . The tournaments run Oct 17. through Oct. 21 . Survivor series includes six different tournaments. This will include poker buy-ins ranging from $1,000- $4,000.

Borgata is hosting a Special Event Tournament Weekend starting with the Borgata Big Chip Bounty on Saturday, Oct. 23 followed by the Borgata Walk-Away Winning event Sunday, Oct. 24.
