There’s new management on the grounds of one of the several Mississippi casinos and to date, there’s little information about how that could change things for patrons, if at all.

The Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel website says it offers more than 500 slot machines , 14 gaming tables, and a dedicated poker room. Amenities for guests on-site include the hotel and dining options. Saratoga says that Tim Morrissey , who has previously served as the GM at Saratoga Black Hawk, will take over those same duties at the Magnolia Bluffs.

In Mississippi, all licensed casinos can offer in-person wagering on sporting events at their properties. Online sports betting, however, is somewhat of a different animal. Technically, it is legal in Mississippi, but only in small pockets of the state .
According to Mississippi law, bettors must be on the appropriate casino grounds to place legal wagers on sports, even online.
