NeoGames S.A. announced Tuesday that its subsidiary, Pariplay, has been approved as a Connecticut online gambling supplier. Connecticut is the fifth state where the company now can operate in the United States.
“Our bold approach to entering regulated markets is something we’re very proud of, and this is allowing us to continue to excel as a business,” NeoGames CEO Moti Malul said in a news release.
“As more and more markets embrace regulation in the United States, we’re given further opportunities to make a real impact for operators and partners alike,” Pariplay head of compliance Lawrence Hanlin said in the release. “Connecticut marks an important milestone for us in our quest to be the leading aggregator across the states.”
Pariplay already has a license to operate in Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and New Jersey, allowing the supplier to operate in five of the six states where gambling websites are legal and regulated. The company does not have a Delaware license. Looking north, the company is live in Alberta and Ontario, Canada, and will soon be available in five other Canadian provinces.
The supplier has been given its Online Gaming Service Provider and Gaming Services Registration Exemption, provided by the State of Connecticut, as well as its Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (Connecticut) license.
Connecticut, home to 3 million people, has two operators for real money mobile casinos – the Mohegan and Mashantucket-Pequot Tribes. They will now be able to partner with Pariplay and gain access to its Fusion platform, which boasts more than 14,000 slots and game titles from over 80 leading providers.
Connecticut was the second state in 2021, and fifth state overall, to legalize both online sports betting and online casino gambling.
Recent numbers show The Constitution State hosts a rather healthy gambling market.
