Kindred Group reported online poker revenue of £6.9 million, up 1.5% on the £6.8 million reported in Q3 2020.

It is the best Q3 on record, and looks particularly impressive lapping the results of last year, which was buoyed by the surge of interest in online poker during the coronavirus pandemic outbreak.

Q3 2020 was up 31% year-over-year; reaching that level again this year is certainly notable. Even more impressive is that year-to-date the operator has generated almost as much revenue as Q1-Q3 2020 at £23.6 million.

Total group revenue was £298.4 million, up 6.3% year-over-year though markedly down on the last three quarters. Casino did well, up 16.1%, but player-favorable results from sports pushed down revenue from that vertical, dipping 4.1% year-over-year.

Due to this, casino as a proportion of group gaming revenue grew to 56.4%. Outside of the anomalous Q2 2020 (when most major sporting events were canceled), it is the highest share in at least six years.
