World Series of Poker: BLAST Game
BLAST poker is a fast-paced four-handed Sit & Go tournament in a lottery-style, with a random prize pool multiplier. These games are very new to the online poker world, having debuted in 2016 at PokerStars under the brand PokerStars Spin & Go.
Since then, lottery-style Sit & Go tournaments have appeared at nearly every online poker operator (although with minor tweaks and alternative names), as they have proven to be a famous structure among players.
According to the WSOP.com website, the games are structured as follows.
● At a four-handed Super-turbo Texas Hold ’em Sit & Go, players take their seats.
● Once the game begins, a drawing is held to decide the prize pool multiplier, which can range from two to ten times the buy-in, as well as the tournament blinds.
● The BLAST timer begins counting down once the game begins. The greater the prize pool multiplier, the longer the time period during which you can play.
● When the BLAST timer expires, the action begins and all participants automatically go all-in until a single winner is determined.
