The clock was ticking down to 10 p.m. when the tournament would be halted due to the government restrictions, but Pichierri went on a late-night heater and accumulated a massive heads-up chip lead. This was Pichierri’s first stop competing for a WSOP title and said it definitely won’t be his last going forward.
