Americas Cardroom put an ambitious $10 million guarantee on their latest Venom online poker event, and it paid off with 4,017 entries over the course of five starting flights.

The final prize pool numbers came in at $10,042,500, making the tournament ACR’s biggest of all time. The record-breaking event came during the site’s 21st anniversary celebration, which will continue through October.

After eight days of action, it was Argentina’s ‘manuma29’ who dragged the last pot, scoring the Venom title and the $1,169,951 first-place prize.

Incredibly, ‘manuma29’ secured the win by making a royal flush on the last hand of heads-up play against runner-up ‘G26.’ All the money went in preflop with ‘G26’ holding A 8 against A Q. The board ran out A K 10 J A and ‘manuma29’ was crowned champion. And we have a champion! Congrats to manuma29 on winning the $10 Million GTD Venom and taking home a whopping $1,169,951.25.
