Recently it was discovered on the PokerStars NJ site that live tournament events coming back to the US. The events will be part of their road to the PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship (PSPC) . The PSPC is taking place in January. Baha Mar in the Bahamas is hosting.
So for those wondering what to has to do with NJ poker players, the company is giving out platinum passes to winners. According to the site, they can be won in numerous ways including via US live events, US online tournaments and more.
A $30,000 Platinum Pass includes: Buy-in to the $25,000 PSPC Six nights hotel accommodation for winner and a guest in a 5-star hotel Airport transfer $1,900 expense money Platinum Pass winner experiences during the event Even though it hasn’t been officially announced, New Jersey players are hoping that the series will return to Resorts in Atlantic City.Resorts currently has a partnership deal with the NJ online poker brand. However, the land-based casino doesn’t have a poker room. Resorts has previously held poker events in its convention area.Back in 2016, Resort’s hosted the first-ever P okerStar’s Live Festival .Should a 2022 event become a reality, PlayNJ will share the details.
