Chris Moneymaker 21 years after his era-defining Main Event victory, Chris Moneymaker is going on the 2nd great heater of his life.
He has just taken down the Enjoy Poker Tour Main Event in Punte del Este for $179,770. The $1,650 event attracted 657 runners and Moneymaker came back from just three big blinds to take the title. Earlier this year he won a Triton event and racked up several big results in the same festival, as well as final tabling the Venom this year . In total, he has cashed for $1,457,501 in live tournaments in 2024.
The win takes his career earnings up to $7,687,226, more than half of which was bookended by his 2003 victory and his recent run in 2024.
He now heads out to play the next event in his own Moneymaker tour, a series which he has also won in recent memory.
