Kenkre rode the wave of online poker, earning millions until the government announced a clampdown on the sites. Still, he continues as a professional cash game player who continues to win big at the table, including against famous celebrities. Kenkre, a former MIT engineer who quit his well-paying job to play poker full time more than a decade ago, is known for his analytical approach to the game and has spent hours formulating mathematical models, dissecting sessions, and discussing hands with top professionals. The shocking victory, which was livestreamed from the Hustler Casino in Southern California, led Adelstein to accuse Lew of cheating, suggesting that she used a “device hidden that simply vibrates to indicate you have the best hand.”

In the aftermath, Lew says Adelstein took her outside of the gambling hall and threatened her in a dark hallway.

Adelstein revealed on social media that Lew offered to return the money he lost, which he accepted — and perceived to be a sign of her guilt .

And Hustler Casino has said neither player will be invited to return until the incident had been investigated.
