Flutter Entertainment settles Kentucky online poker dispute for $300m

London-listed betting and gaming operator Flutter Entertainment has agreed a settlement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The settlement relates to the activities of PokerStars in Kentucky between 2006 and 2011, prior to its acquisition by Flutter Entertainment.

Flutter was previously in line to pay significantly more to settle the case after the Kentucky Supreme Court reinstated an $870m judgement against the online poker operator last December, which had been set aside in 2018.
