Mason Pye and Tom Hayward PokerStars Ambassador Mason “Pyefacepoker” Pye loves playing mixed games so much that PokerStars has created a special micro series for him and anyone else who enjoys getting their grind on in non-hold’em events.
Pye’s Mixed Game Series runs from November 5-7, and feature 20 mixed games with buy-ins ranging from $1.10 to $11, making it the perfect festival for you to try out some of poker’s other variants. There is the opportunity to win big, too, because the 20 mixed games’ events have combined guarantees in excess of $110,000 .
The series shuffles up and deals at 3:00 p.m. CET on November 5 with a $3.30 buy-in HO.R.S.E. Seven other events take place on the opening night, including Limit 2-7 Triple Draw , PL Fusion , and a $5.50 buy-in $8,000 guaranteed No-Limit Omaha Hi-Low tournament.
November 6 sees the mixed game action continue with another seven tournaments. The biggest of Saturday evening is the $5.50 buy-in NLHE/PLO Mix that comes with a $15,000 guarantee slapped in its prize pool.
All good things must come to an end, and November 7 is when the curtain comes down on Pye’s Mixed Game Series. The series’ Main Event kicks off at 8:00 p.m. CET and is an $11 buy-in $20,000 guaranteed 8-Game tournament, a fitting end to what looks like an incredible mixed game schedule.
