Lillis continued his trend of winning at least one five-figure score each week by finishing second in the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller for more than $15,000. Lillis also won the $125 Daily Marathon at GGPoker for $5,343. Kulev would be top of the Irish standings at any other period of time was it not for Lillis’s stupendous form. Kuelv banked a few four-figure prizes before becoming a WCOOP champion, winning the WCOOP-67-H: $530 NLHE [7-Max] event for a cool $68,766. Even with the masses of points gained from that score, Kulev trails Lillis by almost 900 points. Dara O’Kearney Everyone’s favourite Irish long-distance running satellite and PKO specialist, Dara “Doke” O’Kearney is another player enjoying a little renaissance. O’Kearney put together a deep run in the $2,100 Bounty NLH Championship at GGPoker, a run that ended in a 17th place finish worth $9,408. While Kulev was busy winning his WCOOP event, he locked horns with James “Jaymo” Noonan at the final table. Noonan came unstuck in fourth place, which saw his lifetime winnings receive a $20,967 booster.
