Market Monitor: Michigan December 2022 – The online casino and poker market in Michigan set yet another all-time record last month, with licensed operators reporting a combined $153 million in revenue, the latest figures from the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) show. It represents growth of 5% on the month prior , and 25% on the same month a year ago .
BetMGM remains the clear market leader, setting a new market record of $54.4 million last month. Its market share of 36% is down slightly on prior months, as smaller operators saw slightly bigger gains.
The standout in the middle of the pack was Caesars Interactive, which operates William Hill online casino and WSOP online poker. Its revenue jumped from $4.2 million in November to $7.2 million last month, an all-time high for the licensee and enough to leap into fifth position in the market.
The data, reported monthly by the MGCB, reports figures for online casino and poker games as a single figure for each operator.
