NORTH HAMPTON — A local man will be spending the next 18 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to trafficking methamphetamine

Christopher Pierro, 29, of North Hampton, was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court on one count of possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.

He had previously pleaded guilty Aug. 24 to the charge as part of a negotiated plea deal with prosecutors.

Pierro was arrested after North Hampton police and postal inspectors executed a search warrant March 3, 2020, at his home on South Road.
