Parimatch Tech has secured two M&A deals to bring mr.fish and PokerMatch under its umbrella as the European sports betting brand looks to expand its entertainment and marketing portfolio.

Mr.fish is a performance marketing company that provides player recruitment and engagement services for iGaming operators, while PokerMatch is a Ukrainian online poker room and ranks among the world’s top companies in its sector.

By integrating mr.fish, Parimatch hopes to improve its marketing technology as it eyes Eastern Europe, where the performance marketing company retains a leading position. It focuses on a wide range of digital services, including affiliate marketing, SEO and retention.

Yuri Titkov, mr.fish’s Chief Exec, welcomed his company’s acquisition by Parimatch, commenting: “Our cooperation on marketing projects with Parimatch Tech has been going on for many years. The merger became a logical step meant to strengthen our positions in the current markets and conquer new ones.

“We intend to create a symbiosis of marketing, technology and product, and I have unwavering faith in my team and the new opportunities that have opened for us.”

PokerMatch meanwhile has been described by its new owner as a “value-added product” that will enhance its entertainment proposal to end customers. To make this acquisition even sweeter, the company is the partner of the All-Ukrainian Sports Poker Federation and the title sponsor of the Ukrainian national sports poker team.

“It’s an exciting day for all of us! Our companies share the same values and aspirations for global development,” remarked PokerMatch CEO Ruslan Bangert. “I am confident that the merging will be smooth, and we will begin working on our international plans soon.”

Maksym Liashko, Parimatch Tech’s joint Chief Exec, expressed a similar sentiment. He said: “Parimatch Tech is excited to join forces with PokerMatch and mr.fish to help achieve our big goal — exploring and expanding the entertainment possibilities our users experience by interacting with the Parimatch brand.”
