partypoker is the latest operator to unveil a new tournament series scheduled to run this holiday season.
Kicking off on Christmas day, the Grand Prix Knockout Series Winter Edition returns to the global online poker platform. The series is dedicated entirely to the popular bounty format and runs through mid-January 2022, featuring a total of 14 numbered events.
The schedule caters to the low and mid-stakes players with buy-ins ranging between $3.30 and $530. It also features what has become a bit of a trend on partypoker: Every event has multiple Day 1s, allowing players ample opportunities to qualify for Day 2.
The Grand Prix KO series joins the two other online giants — PokerStars and GGPoker — in announcing a special Winter tournament series.
“The Christmas and New Year period is always a busy one for us here at partypoker, and the same can be said for our players, so we wanted to give our players a series that allows maximum flexibility during a time where poker doesn’t always take center stage,” said Chris Donnachie, partypoker’s Head of Poker Room Management.
