The 2024 Summer Poker Series at Resorts World Las Vegas has concluded. There were 91 poker tournaments hosted at the venue from June 6 through July 22. In that span, more than 10,700 entries were made, resulting in nearly $2,234,000 in total prize money.

Buy-ins ranged from $120 up to $400, with 87 of the 91 tournaments sporting guaranteed prize pools. The guarantee was surpassed in about 98 percent of the events held, with the average prize pool clocking in at roughly 2.5 times the guarantee. Two events ended up more than quintupling the guarantee, with another three more than quadrupling the promised prize pool. In fact, more than a quarter of the guarantees were at least tripled.

Recap 6 Event #67 – $10,000 Guaranteed $200 No-Limit Hold’em Derek Stark Mario De Souza ended up making six final tables during this series, including a win on June 23 in one of the $5,000 guaranteed events. He came incredibly close to securing a second title, but ultimately fell just one spot short in event no. 67. De Souza earned $2,685 as the runner up in the $10,000 guaranteed $200 buy-in tournament, which was ultimately won by Derek Stark. Stark walked away with $4,334 as the champion. The tempe, Arizona resident now has more than $94,000 in career cashes.A turnout of 79 entries in this event saw the $10,000 guarantee surpassed by $3,035, with the top eight finishers earnings a share.
