State-Regulated US Poker Sites Offer Big September Events

For American poker players who live in Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, the time is now to get into the action. There are poker tournaments with big titles throughout September and some into October. PokerStars COOPs

COOP started out on PokerStars’ worldwide site as WCOOP, the World Championship of Online Poker. Over time, they added other iterations to that signature tournament series. When they brought it to the regulated US market, it produced PACOOP for Pennsylvania, NJCOOP for New Jersey, and MICOOP for Michigan.

Those US COOP series are back and started this weekend. For 18 days, there will be more than 200 COOP events and $4.5M in prize pool guarantees. It will wrap in all three states on September 26.

Players can get into the tournaments for as low as $20 buy-ins or for $2 satellites. There will also be special Spin & Gos for as little as $3 and a daily freeroll. COOP Highlights

One of the major highlights of this year’s COOPs in America is the opportunity to win a Platinum Pass. This $30K prize package will send the winner to the Bahamas in January/February 2023 for the Poker Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) . Players can qualify by playing COOP events, as well as casino games and sports betting action. The finalists will each win a Platinum Pass. There will also be one pass reserved for the winner of a set of daily freerolls.

Each state’s COOP will also offer a Main Event with a big guarantee. Those will be: MICOOP Event 69 of 77 (Sept 25): $300 buy-in Main Event Championship ($150K GTD)

NJCOOP Event 53 of 59 (Sept 25): $300 buy-in Main Event ($100K GTD)

PACOOP Event 69 of 77 (Sept 25): $300 buy-in Main Event Championship ($225K GTD)
