In March 2005, Bellande made his first public appearance at a World Series of Poker Circuit event, and he took third place and earned $210,900. ESPN aired the tournament live, and the final table included well-known poker players such as Jennifer Harman and Phil Ivey . Bellande grabbed much attention from poker spectators with his dynamic table presence and aggressive table banter. It was also the first time he had a six-figure tournament score.

Bellande won the 2005 Winnin’ o’ the Green event, earning another $148,000, by defeating John Phan a week later. He finished second in a $2K tournament at the WPT Five-Star World Poker Classic at the Bellagio in April 2005, taking home $123,385. Bellande almost won his first bracelet at the 2008 World Series of Poker when he finished second to Matt Graham in the $1,500 Limit Hold ’em Shootout event earning $173,564.

He finished second in the $5K PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Mixed Game tournament in January 2010, earning $58,975. Bellande also finished second in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship mixed game tournament in 2015. Mike Gorodinsky defeated him in a head-to-head match for the crown. Bellande had to settle for second place and $784,828 in prize money, his highest single live event score to date.

Bellande won his maiden and only bracelet at the 2018 World of Series Poker event #58: $5,000 No-Limit Hold ’em Six-Handed and earned $616,302 for his victory.

At the World Series of Poker, Bellande has cashed $2,100,574 from 25 events. It comprises four in-the-money finishes in the main event. He has won about $2,800,000 in live tournaments as of 2018.
