The living legend of Poland, 97-year-old Henry Orenstein is a Holocaust survivor toymaker from Hrubieszów. Currently residing in Verona, New Jersey, Orenstein made a fortune as a toy designer and manufacturer, but his love of poker has always been remarkable as well.

An avid poker fan himself – he won the $5,000 Seven-card stud tournament at 1996 WSOP, leaving behind renowned poker players T. J. Cloutier, Cyndy Violette, and Humberto Brenes – Orenstein came up with a genius idea of making poker championships more appealing to the audience by showing face-down cards to viewers.

As of 2009, the total tournament winnings of the legend exceeded $200,000, among which the most memorable victories were two finishes in the money in the WSOP main event (12 th place in 1993 and 8 th place two years later) and 7 th place in the Seven Card Stud event at the 2005 United States Poker Championship, where in the first round, Orenstein outplayed Chip Reese before losing to John Hennigan.
