GritinhO_Dzi Wins WPTDeepStack #9 – $200,000 PKO

Event #9 was another $200,000 guaranteed affair, but a tournament played as a Progressive Knockout. Some 320 players bought in on December 5 and played down to the nine-handed final table. Those finalists returned to the action on December 6, and it was “GritinhO_Dzi” who walked away with the title plus the lion’s share of the $200,000 prize pool.

The Brazilian champion got his hands on an impressive $40,500, which sets him up nicely for the remainder of the festival. GritinhO_Dzi defeated Germany’s “Ersin_199090” heads-up, the German sat down at the final table as the chip leader.
