WSOP Boosts Ontario Cash Game Traffic to New Highs

The Ontario online poker market has put up some extremely impressive cash game traffic numbers over the last four weeks, thanks to the launch of WSOP Ontario in September.

Cash game traffic in the province crossed the threshold of 700 average concurrent players in mid-October and hasn’t looked back since, according to data tracked by GameIntel and available exclusively on Poker Industry PRO .

WSOP.ca took the lead right off the bat. When it debuted in Week 39 , the operator and its GGPoker partner had an average of 341 current cash game seats to add to the mix, which was nearly as much as its three rivals in the province — 888poker Ontario , BetMGM Poker Ontario , and PokerStars Ontario — combined.
