PPC Malta Euan McNicholas staged an epic comeback to become the PPC Malta Online Knockout Championship champion at partypoker on March 28. While it was not quite a “chip and a chair” scenario, the British star overcame a near eight-to-one chip defecit to defeat Samuel Kabelitz heads-up.
McNicholas is a name British poker fans are hearing an increasing amount of late. He usually plies his trade at the cash game tables but showed his tournament prowess when he took down the £1,250 GUKPT London Main Event in 2021 for a career-best £165,800 score.
