Exclusive: PokerStars Ends Anonymous Tables Trial in Southern Europe

PokerStars Ends Anonymous Tables Trial in Southern Europe – After over two years of testing, PokerStars finally scraps “Stealth” cash game anonymous tables which the operator trialed in the European segregated market. Online poker giant PokerStars has finally shelved “Stealth” , its optional anonymous cash game tables.

The feature was quietly launched in December 2020 on a trial basis exclusively for players in France and Spain sharing the same player pool. As the format was deployed for experimentation, only two stakes — 5c/10c (NL10) and 10c/25c (NL25) at six-max tables supported the anonymity.

These tables were identified in the lobby with a mask symbol in the “type” column and were separate from other ring tables.

It marked the first time the global online giant provided players to play without their permanent screen names on display to opponents at the tables.
