Flagship Winamax Series Returns, Smashes Records Yet Again – The 35th iteration of Winamax’s top-level series hit new highs with total guarantees of €25 million. French online poker leader Winamax has started 2023 with the 35th installment of its flagship Winamax Series , with total guarantees set to a historical high.
Having kicked off on New Year’s Day, the series boasts a combined €25 million in guarantees with the prize money spread over the usual twelve days. The series again takes the crown as the largest online tournament series to run in the segregated European market, beating its own record set last year.
The series is open to French and Spanish players, while Portuguese players will have to wait a bit longer as the site has yet to launch in the Iberian country.
The total prize pool, this time around, is spread over a few more tournaments than last time — 235 across 12 days, the most ever. The average guarantee is just over €106,000 — a slight dip of the €114k from last year’s series but still the fourth highest in Winamax Series history.
