Frederick “Fred” Kelleher, 80, of Nashua, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Lynn, MA, son of the late John A. Gerakaris and Barbara (Bassett) Gerakaris. He was the loving husband of Kristine Kelleher for 42 years. They were married in Topsfield, MA on August 23, 1981.
Fred worked as an auto mechanic for Allen Mello Dodge for 27 years and also as a parts driver for Auto Value for 12 years. In his free time Fred enjoyed watching TV game shows, playing online poker, going for his daily drives, and spending time with his beloved grandson, Owen.
Aside from his parents, Fred is predeceased by his brother, James J. Kelleher Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Kristine Kelleher, and their children: Courtney, her husband Jeffrey Ortiz, and their son Owen of Plymouth, MA; Megan and her husband Michael Huffman of Spotsylvania, VA.
He is also survived by his son Scott Kelleher and his family of Washington state.
Fred also leaves behind his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Kathleen and her husband Walter Willwerth, Bill Cahill and his wife Jennifer, Maureen and her husband Jim Farren, Eileen Cahill, Barbara and her husband Shawn Quigley, John Cahill and his wife Paula, and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 1:00 – 3:30pm at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A memorial service will follow starting at 3:30pm at Davis Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to attend.
