Starting June 1, GGPoker’s official Discord server will cease to exist as the operator makes its move over to new subreddit forum. Online poker room GGPoker is moving its support team from the Discord community platform to Reddit. The operator announced such a decision on Twitter last week.
“Something very exciting is about to happen over the Reddit platform,” GGPoker tweeted on its official Twitter account, possibly hinting at bigger giveaways.
The announcement further says the Discord server will close down on June 1 and support services will start to cease as they move closer to that date. Players seeking support can post on the new subreddit forum and the same staff members will be active on Reddit and will be assisting players, the operator wrote.
“We would like to thank you all for the opportunity to create the fun and engaging community that this Discord server has become, and we hope you move forward with us on this journey to continue providing our players with top-tier support & community content,” the site further wrote on its Discord server.
