The High Stakes Poker Championship returns to Atlantic City’s Borgata, with some very interesting formats, including bounty and survivor tournaments. A brand-new event will be introduced during the High Stakes Poker Championship with the Mystery Bounty tournament making its debut. This will be a $2,200 buy-in event and $1 million in bounties will be awarded over the course of the tournament. The top bounty is worth a huge $250,000.
Like all bounty poker tournaments, this event awards a prize to each player who eliminates another competitor. Where this differs from other bounties is that there is no set amount on each player’s head. Instead , anyone who eliminates another player will receive an envelope with a mystery amount of cash inside.
