Jonathan “Proudflop” Proudfoot saw his online poker tournament lifetime earnings increase by more than $27,000 after he was the last man standing in the $1,050 Sunday High Roller at PokerStars .

This week’s tournament drew in a crowd of 147 entrants and it was Proudfoot who outlasted them all. The Sunday High Roller usually attracts some of the biggest names in the online poker world, and this week was no different because the final table would not have looked out of place in a tournament with a buy-in ten times the size.

Ole “wizowizo” Schemion was the first mega-star to bust from the final table. The Austria-based German saw his $1,050 investment turn into $5,372. Two other finalists reeled in four-figure prizes: Carlos “Carster” Chadha and “lildani9” of Hungary busted in seventh and sixth-place for prizes worth £6,916 and $8,904.

Proudfoot’s fellow Brit, Talal “raidalot” Shakerchi , secured the tournament’s first five-figure prize, namely $11,463. He was joined on the rail by Brazilian sensation Bruno “great dant” Volkmann ($14,757) and then Sam “Str8$$$Homey” Greenwood , who won $18,997.

Alex “FutureofMe” Kulev and Proudfoot locked horns heads-up but not before striking a deal to make the pay jumps less severe. Kulev led going into the one-on-one battle but Proudfoot overcame the odds and defeated his final opponent, locking in $27,609 in the process. Kulev netted $28,333 for his runner-up finish. $1,050 Sunday High Roller Final Table Results
