Liperis Wins DTD High Roller as Ashraf Immortalised at the Club

Yiannis Liperis Yiannis Liperis took his lifetime live poker tournament winnings through the magical $2 million barrier when he took down the £1,100 buy-in DTD High Roller event at Dusk Till Dawn this weekend. Liperis’ victory come off the back of three impressive results at the recent PokerStars EPT Monte Carlo festival, which included a fourth-place finish in the €2,200 FPS High Roller worth €99,190. Tariq Imam , a player better known for grinding Pot-Limit Omaha games online, finished in ninth place and won £3,000.

Former WPT500 champion Gary Miller was the next to fall, his eighth-place finish came with £3,500. John Bassett and Nikolay Ponomarev joined the list of busted players but not before diverting past the DTD cashier’s cage to collect their £4,000 and £5,000 payouts.

Fifth place and £6,500 went to the popular professional Ben Dobson . Dobson, a WSOP bracelet winner and former GUKPT Manchester champion, reached the final table of the recent partypoker Championship UK Main Event . Dobson looks to be in solid form with the 2022 WSOP on the horizon.

The final four-figure prize went to Majid Nadeem , who you may recall finished third in the 2022 Irish Open Coin Rivet High Roller for €51,385. Nadeem’s demise in fourth place in this event came with £9,000.

The final three became two when Parminder Kandola bowed out. Kandola received a career-best £13,000 for this impressive deep run, surpassing the £8,520 he collected in August 2018 when he came out on top in a £60 buy-in Grand Prix Mini at Dusk Till Dawn.
