Daniel Negreanu ’s World Series of Poker (WSOP) journey is among the most followed by the poker community each year as he continues his quest for a seventh bracelet.

The Poker Hall of Famer is playing a jam-packed schedule this summer both live and online and so far, he has recorded a total of six cashes at the ongoing series, the latest of which was a 16th-place finish in Event #34: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha . Hunt for Redemption

Negreanu is looking to bounce back from a disappointing $1.1 million loss at the 2022 WSOP For the first time in ten years, the GGPoker ambassador never became part of the Player of the Year race after recording just 12 cashes in his WSOP campaign last year.

This year, Negreanu is trying to pull off a comeback and things are looking good for the Canadian poker star thus far, based on his initial results at the festival.

Since the series kicked off in May, Negreanu has reached the money in six events, four of which had more than 1,000 entries, including the brand-new $300 Gladiators of Poker where he finished 72nd out of 23,088 entries for $5,840.

Negreanu took home $2,773 after finishing 99th out of 2,017 entrants in the $1,000 Pot Limit Omaha and went on to collect $1,412 in winnings good for a 178th finish in the Online $400 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max which attracted 1,488 entries.His biggest score so far at the 2023 WSOP came from a 22nd finish in the $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller 6-Handed where he won $50,000.
