The Spring Championship of Online Poker ( SCOOP ) returns to PokerStars from March 17 – April 3 with 252 events and $5 million guarantee.
That’s the largest in the history of the series in the US and players have a variety of tournaments to look forward to.
Online poker players will find low, medium, and high buy-in levels throughout the series, which runs in the shared player pool of Michigan and New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania .
There are plenty of extras planned and the guarantee includes over $3 million in Michigan-New Jersey and more than $2 million in Pennsylvania. “We’re thrilled to announce our largest series guarantee ever to players in the US,” PokerStars managing director Severin Rasset said in a news release. “We’ve made a concerted effort to ensure that this series is accessible to all players, by curating an inclusive schedule with a wide range of buy-ins. This year’s SCOOP again appeals to a wide range of players with buy-ins ranging from $10 to $2,500 . The action kicks off with an Eight-Game Championship special, offering buy-ins at the $20, $50, and $200 levels.
That’s followed by Turbo Night Fight to round out March 17 with buy-in levels at $30, $100, and $250 in the Michigan-New Jersey market. These three events feature guarantees of $7,500, $15,000, and $25,000.
Players in Pennsylvania will also find Turbo Night Fight events with significant guarantees as well.
The two-day $300 buy-in high Main Event highlights the series with a $300,000 guarantee in MI-NJ and a $200,000 guarantee in PA.
