“At the PokerStars Players Championship, anything is possible, but you have to get there first.” Weeks after PokerStars announced it would give away dozens of coveted Platinum Passes to its US players, the operator has finally revealed the online routes.
Starting August 30 and running through December 10, the PokerStars US platform will run multiple leaderboards for its players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, offering up Platinum Passes for the second edition of the PokerStars No-Limit Hold ’em Players Championship (PSPC) . The first six Passes will be awarded to the top leaderboard finishers from the Championship of Online Poker (COOP) in NJ, PA, and MI, which takes place from September 9-26.
The operator will offer various ways to earn leaderboard points during their upcoming COOP series in the three regulated US states. The top 1,000 players on the COOP leaderboards will win entry to a freeroll taking place on September 27, with more Platinum Passes up for grabs.
PokerStars has hinted that there will be even more upcoming ways to earn a highly sought-after package to play poker in the Bahamas.
