Las Vegas, NV (November 2, 2022) – The WPT ® World Championship will encompass several prominent names, from poker pros and personalities to celebrities, but possibly none bigger than world-renowned DJ and World Poker Tour ® Ambassador Steve Aoki.
“I can’t wait for the World Championship. I am looking forward to playing some cards with the WPT crew and fans alike,” said Aoki. “The Premier Meet-Up Game is going to be an absolute blast, but I can’t lie – I’m really looking forward to having a Sit & Go at my crib.”
On Dec. 1, Aoki joins fellow WPT personalities, such as Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, Doyle Brunson, Lynn Gilmartin, and more, in The Premier Meet-Up Game: WPT Poker Icons Experience. The massive MUG, held in the Wynn Las Vegas Poker Room kicks off the WPT World Championship Festival .
Aoki will then open his Las Vegas home to host a one-table Sit & Go on Dec. 6 for ClubWPT™ qualifiers winning their seat through The WPT Steve Aoki Playhouse Game *. ClubWPT players have the chance to win one of two $2,000 WPT package to face off against Aoki, Owen, and Neeme at Aoki’s home by finishing top two in the Final on Sunday, Nov. 13.
Aoki’s state-of-the-art residence has everything you expect from a world-class DJ’s personal pad: a pool, foam pit, amazing art, and most importantly, a personalized poker table.
On Dec. 8, Aoki is set to play Day 1A of the $1,100 Prime Championship, to attempt a run at a WPT title.
