Everyone loves a feel-good story, especially when it comes to someone deserving realising their dreams and winning a substantial sum of money. WPT Global created such a tale when the online poker site gave LoriAnn Persinger a free seat in the $10,400 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December.

According to the WPT Global Blog , Day 4 started well for Persinger, as she found herself armed with three million chips. However, she lost almost half of her stack with trip kings versus a full house, but got those chips back, with interest, from the same opponent when her aces remained true against pocket kings.
