2022 is getting off to a hot start in PA’s online poker scene as WSOP PA is kicking things off with the first Online Circuit event of 2022 . The 12-event series starts on January 5 and has more than half a million in prize money across the series .
It represents only the second Circuit Series event held by the WSOP in the Pennsylvania online poker market since it opened its doors in July last year . Total guarantees are down fractionally on the series held in September, but there should still be significant value to be had by players.
There is a total of $535,000 guaranteed across the 12 tournaments . The series culminates on January 16 with the Main Event, promising a prize pool of at least $100,000 for a cost of $525 .
The schedule also features one pot-limit Omaha game and one No Limit Hold’em (NLH) freezeout game. The rest of the series is made up of rebuy events mixed between progressive knockout (PKO) and standard formats. One standout is Event #5, branded the Sunday Special, on January 9.
